An inspirational group aiming to give Syrian refugees the chance at life that every human deserves
This project aims to solve the need that Syrian refugees have for better integration in the workforce upon arriving to Montreal. Our project will allow them to have more and better paying job opportunities, jobs that reflect their career experience, whilst also facilitating their integration in society. We will empower them to go beyond a “survival” state and thrive here in Montreal.
Through a mentoring program with MBA students, we will help them overcome various barriers such as paperwork, lack of connections and of knowledge of the Canadian labor market, and lack of certification transfer, we will aim to connect Syrians with further resources (i.e. language tutoring for parents and kids) and thrive here in Montreal.
